Discover How to Make a Diaper Cake Tip

When you think about how to make a diaper cake for a baby shower, please consider using non-disposable diapers instead of Pampers or equivalent.  The real ones are so much better for the environment. If you plan to use real nappies, your cake will be smaller. You will use fewer baby diapers, which is a good thing because they cost more.

Of course, they don’t really cost more when you consider that you only buy them once.

    Hi,
I saw your comment above and wanted to know, if I wanted to make a non disposable diapercake, what exactly would I use to make it? That would be an interesting gift for a friend of mine that is very environment friendly.

Using real diapers will be more expensive, unfortunately. If you can sew and make your own, you would probably save money. To use cloth diapers, you would make your diapers the same size approximately as the “recipe” that calls for disposables. It might take a few more, given that the bulk of cloth diapers is less than the bulk of disposables.
